Queen Creek Chamber to host college and career fair

The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 8th Annual Elevate for Tomorrow college and career fair in January.

The event is designed to help local high school juniors learn about their options and prepare for the future. It will include a panel discussion with local business owners, which will focus on how they have overcome challenges throughout their careers. Students will then be able to choose one of nine breakout sessions to attend. These will cover a range of topics including living on campus in college, setting and achieving goals and creating a strong resume.

Students can also visit the college and career fair, which will have representatives available from more than 40 schools and employers. College representatives often use brochure printing services to provide information about their school’s programs. Businesses interested in participating in the fair should sign up on the Chamber’s website. The event is free for both students and businesses hosting a booth.

High schoolers planning to attend can sign up on the Queen Creek Student Chamber’s website. The conference will be considered an approved field trip for students at participating schools. Details about lunch and breakout session options are available on the registration page.

Elevate for Tomorrow will take place on Friday, January 10 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the ASU Polytechnic campus.
