Olive Mill prepares for spring festival

The Queen Creek Olive Mill is hosting its annual Olive Blossom Festival this spring.

The annual festival celebrates the springtime, and this year’s event will also mark the launch of a special limited edition olive oil. This Master Blender’s bottle has been crafted by the mill’s olive oil sommelier Perry Rea and the Corning Olive Oil Company.

The event will feature live music, a selection of vendors, and tractor tours of the olive groves, which will be in bloom. Vendors often use banner printing services to highlight their booths at this type of event. The festival is free to attend, and registration is not required. Additional details about the schedule and vendor lineup will be added to the Olive Mill’s website as the event approaches.

The Olive Mill is a family business founded by Perry and Brenda Rea and their children. It started in a small farm shed and now produces small batch extra virgin olive oils. The facility hosts daily Olive Oil 101 tours for visitors interested in learning about how olive oil is made, its health benefits, how to taste it to assess its flavors and quality, and how best to cook with it.

The Olive Blossom Festival will take place on Saturday, April 20 from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sunday, April 21 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
