Queen Creek is hosting a grand opening celebration for a new public park this June.
The grand opening of Frontier Family Park will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 7:30 am. Further activities to celebrate the opening will take place from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Going forward, the park will be open daily from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm.
The new park will offer facilities for a wide selection of sports and recreation activities. These include six baseball and softball fields, two basketball courts, two volleyball courts, three multi-purpose fields, and 24 pickleball courts. All of these fields and courts will have lighting to allow for evening games. Ten covered picnic areas, including two sized for large groups, will also be available.
Frontier Family Park will include a splash pad area and a five-acre lake for fishing. The splash pad will be open from March through October. Everyone fishing in the lake who is aged 10 or older will need a fishing license, which can be purchased online from the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Local governments often work with graphic design experts to create Signs for their public parks.
The grand opening of Frontier Family Park in Queen Creek will take place on Saturday, June 8 from 7:30 am to 10:00 am.
