Dinosaurs return to life in Phoenix

Phoenix is preparing for the return of prehistoric dinosaurs when Jurassic Quest comes to the Arizona State Fairgrounds next weekend.

The self-guided experience features more live-motion dinosaurs than any other event of its kind, incorporating advanced costuming, puppetry, and animatronics for a seamless experience. Dinosaur rides and other activities pepper the event, which may take two hours or more to complete at a reasonable pace.

With multiple showings spanning an entire weekend, Jurassic Quest includes life-sized recreations of the ancient creatures, including the tyrannosaurus rex and apatosaurus.

Baby dino meet-and-greets, fossil digs, and Lego brick-building events will also be included in the activities. Other Lego attractions include giant sculptures, interactive play zones, and a Brick Derby.

Guests ages two or older must have a ticket, with those younger than two receiving free admission. In addition, participants must show up at least one hour before the closing time to gain entry. While the ticket prices are largely all-inclusive, there are some premium add-ons that can be purchased for an additional fee, such as face painting and green screen photos.

Theme attractions like this may choose to use banner printing to create Signs for activities, exhibitions, vendors, and entry points.

Jurassic Quest – The Ultimate Family Adventure is happening next Friday, February 6 from noon to 6:00 pm, then on February 7 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on February 8 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Arizona State Fairgrounds at 1826 W McDowell Road, Phoenix.
