Isola to relocate, but remain in Chandler

The Isola Group will stay in Chandler, but move some of its functions to a new 118,000 square-foot facility.

The new building was built from the ground up for the company, and is located in the Lotus Project near Loop 202 and Kyrene Road.

Isola Group leads the market in dielectric pre-impregnated materials and copper-clad laminates used in fabricating printed circuit boards. The new facility was designed to be state-of-the-art, which will allow Isola to handle the quick-turn market for PBCs. A quick-turn PBC is what it sounds like—a component that is manufactured quickly.

Isola's manufacturing facility, R&D, and headquarters will all move to the new building, which it is thought will open in phases, beginning in October. Isola officials say they will continuing working closely with their distributors and customers during the move so they can maintain customer service at the highest level. Brochure printing is often used to illustrate products like this.

Isola's Travis Kelly said finalizing the lease and finishing building the new facility will give Isola the chance to better serve the changing North American electronics market.

Kevin Hartke, the mayor of Chandler, said the company has been one of the city's long-time technology employers and he and other officials are delighted it is remaining in Chandler. He added that the city had worked with Isola to help them choose the site for the new building.
