Chandler’s Springfield Golf Resort is once again hosting its annual Lucky Clover 5K Run/Walk this March.
With a theme of St. Patrick’s Day and Irish culture, runners are encouraged to wear green.
Packet pickup starts at the golf course more than an hour before the race begins, with runners starting in 5-6 waves separated by 30-60 seconds, and a limit of 500 participants total.
Anyone who finishes the race will receive a medal with an embossed lucky clover design, which is among the most finely crafted and heavy ornaments in the race’s history.
Treats and adult beverages will be available for participants ages 21 and over, including beer and donuts.
Awards will be given out for the top three overall athletes, broken down into subcategories of men and women and various age groups.
Participants will be given a commemorative racing bibs, instant results via text and online and free professional photos.
The adults-only event doesn’t allow strollers and features a two-lap course that meanders around the golf cart paths. It features twists, turns, views of the playing field and a straightforward course progression.

The Lucky Clover 5K Run/Walk is happening on March 15 from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at the Springfield Golf Resort at 1200 E St. Andrews Blvd in Chandler.
