Brandi Denise Boyd is coming to Mic Drop Comedy this February.
The stand-up comedian is a former social worker, bringing her unique perspective to the stage.
Known for her high-energy routines and larger-than-life stage presence, Brandi made her televised standup debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Since then, she’s continued working as not only a stand-up comedian, including on BET’s ComicView, but also as an actor and writer.
Bradi has appeared on BET’s Games People Play, ABC’s Abbott Elementary and Starz’s Power. Over the radio, she can be heard on the Netflix XM Comedy Station, Are You Still Listening.
As an alumnus of the Chicago Second City Improv, Brandi went through the same comedy training program as legends such as Chris Farley, Stephen Colbert and Bob Odenkirk, among others. In 2024, she was recognized as one of the most notable up-and-coming comedians by Vulture Magazine.
Brandi also has a strong presence on social media, garnering 350,000 followers and generating over a million views on YouTube from her stand-up segment on Comedy Central.
Recently, Brandi made her debut comedy special on Hulu, presented by Kevin Hart’s LOL Live series.
