Rodeo festival rides into Chandler

8 Second Saturdays Rodeo is coming to Chandler’s Buck-N Rodeo Grounds this fall.

Held every month on the second Saturday, beginning in October and continuing through May of next year, riding activities involving bulls, steers, and calves will take place. People not trained in the art of bull riding will not be left out, as there are also free concerts, children’s games, and food vendors available for all.

For the upcoming October rodeo, Nathan Dean and The Damn Band are set to perform. Launching out of Arizona in the mid-2000s, the band and its lead singer took their act on the road in 2008 and continue to perform to this day.

A stripped-down country act, Natha Dean and The Damn Band take a grounded approach to their sound. Even still, they wear their eclectic mix of influences, from Prince to Guns N’ Roses, on their sleeves.

While the band starts out their nightly sets with country classics and originals, they soon switch to putting their own twang on tribute songs, taking audience requests along the way, including ones they have never tried before.

Rodeo events like this may choose to use banner printing to create venue and vendor Signs and arena decorations.

The first monthly rodeo night is on Saturday, October 10 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Buck-N Rodeo Grounds at 5244 S 48th St in Chandler.
