Chandler will welcome the season of trick-or-treating when the Halloween Spooktacular returns to downtown this October.
The family-friendly event is full of activities for all ages, with free admission and parking.
The Catwalk Costume Parade unfolds on two occasions throughout the evening of Halloween, with participants of all ages encouraged to apply in their full costumes. Registration is not a requirement.
Then there’s the Trunk-or-Treat event, with open car backs acting as candy stations serving up more than 300 lbs of the sugary stuff to participants, who are encouraged to bring Bags.
Carnival games fill the park during the Spooktacular as participants earn the chance to win prizes, including candy. Inflatable Axe Throwing, Hula Hoop Toss, Musical Headstones and Witch’s Broom Race are just some of the spooky-themed free games on offer.
A Spooky Prize Wheel will also be part of the festivities, in which participants can spin a wheel for the chance to receive a reward. The prizes include crafts and treats, among others.
Children 5 and under are also invited to the Little Monsters Zone where they can enjoy age-appropriate Halloween-themed activities.
Halloween festivals like this may choose to use poster printing for making spooky decorations, promotions or Signs.
The Halloween Spooktacular happens on October 31 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park: Stage Plaza at 178 E. Commonwealth Avenue, Chandler.
