Surrey venue to celebrate Victorian Christmas

A Surrey venue will be stepping back in time to the days of Queen Victoria when it welcomes one and all for a seasonal celebration.

Historic Stewart Farm has set the date for its Victorian Christmas Evening, and this three-hour gathering will be filled with the sights, sounds and events that would have been part of many of the festivities that took place during those years. Admission will be free, and the whole family is welcome to attend.

The guests will be treated to live harp music performed by Leanne Page in the venue’s parlour, and there will be treats baked on a wood stove to enjoy as well. A homemade lantern make-and-take station is in the works, and Father Christmas will be waiting in the pole barn to pose for pictures. The function is set to begin at 4:00 pm, and it will continue on until it draws to a close at 7:00 pm.

Themed events that call for period-style decor may benefit from the modern techniques utilized by banner printing companies. They can supply a full line of options when it comes to building the desired atmosphere for a special occasion.

Historic Stewart Farm will celebrate the winter holiday season with its Victorian Christmas Evening set for Saturday, December 5th. The venue is located at 13723 Crescent Road.
