Starting this month, Surrey will be saluting summer with a picnic series that will encourage everyone to get out and explore what its parks have to offer.
The city's Community Picnics will bring neighbours together for outdoor dining, and the schedule kicks off on International Picnic Day. The picnics will take place rain or shine, and there will be no attendance fees.
The first instalment of the series will be held in Dominion Park, and there will be plenty of active fun to be had. Music will provide a festive background to the celebration, and mini golf, a rock-climbing wall and other activities will be set up throughout the park. There will also be community partner booths and tables to visit.
The picnic will be a drop-in style occasion, with no advance registration needed. It will begin at 5:30 pm on its scheduled date.
Local events offer fun ways to bring neighbours together, and they are often listed in community guides and other publications mailed to area households. Print shops can supply a range of options to its clients, including budget-friendly binding services for Catalogues, Booklets and more.
The first of Surrey’s Community Picnics will bring the community together on next Saturday, June 13. A full list of dates, locations and timings for the other instalments can be found on the city’s website.Get a Free Quote for Booklets Get a Free Quote for Catalogues Get a Free Quote for Print
