Surrey first responders will soon be showcasing what they do all year long, and this special activity will run throughout March break week.
The Museum of Surrey’s "Emergency Services” exhibits will give kids and parents alike a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look into what first responders do every day. It will be filled with hands-on fun, and no advance registration is needed.
The families that drop by the museum will be able to meet members of the local police, ambulance and fire services, and there will be representatives of the Ministry of Children & Family Development and BC Emergency Health Services on hand as well. First responder vehicles and equipment will be on display, and a scavenger hunt, obstacle course and other activities are in the works too. Everyone can make a craft and earn a sticker prize.
Museums and other venues that plan special public exhibits like this may require custom-designed signage and other materials. Print shops that can supply graphic design options will be able to help.
The Museum of Surrey, which is located at 17710 56 A Avenue, will be showcasing its First Responder services from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm each day from March 17th until March 27th. Anyone interested in finding out more can do so by visiting the City of Surrey website.
