River run arriving in Canning Vale area
A run along the Canning River is planned for autumn, with both marathon and half marathon admission available.
Runners in Canning Vale will not want to miss an upcoming event taking place minutes away in Gosnells in autumn. Dubbed the “2025 Canning River Runningworks Festival” the epic event is encouraging athletes in the area to get involved in a newly established course running alongside the Canning River.
Organisers of athletic events like marathons and half marathon sometimes call upon specialist printing services to produce attractive adverts that encourage members of the public to become entrants.
From start to finish, competitors will run beside the Canning River, and the course offers an abundance of shade from the sun. There will be medals for all entrants who complete the marathon and half marathon options, as well as prizes and medals for the top three placings in the two events and the 10-kilometre run.
The 2025 Canning River Runningworks Festival will be held on Sunday, March 16. The marathon has a start time of 7:00 am while the half marathon and 10K running events start at 7.30 am. The meeting point for the festival is at 34 Homestead Road in Gosnells.
While refunds are not available for the event, for an admin fee of $19, runners can transfer their entry to the Bibra Lake Runningworks Festival, or to another participant, free of charge.
