Cannington venue to present cultural spring festival
A Bengali celebration will soon take place at a popular Cannington venue, and it is welcoming the area’s wider community to attend.
The Bengali Association of Western Australia (BAWA) is inviting residents of Cannington to join its spring 2025 Bijoya Mela event. A community gathering, the occasion will celebrate the Bengali festival of Bijoya Dashami.
Promoters of local events like this one sometimes rely on experienced flyer printing services to create marketing materials containing correct details, like the time, place and cost of festivals or fairs.
Open to the public, the event encourages BAWA members, friends, family and Western Australia’s wider community to appreciate a wealth of entertainment and activities. Over four and a half hours, festivalgoers can experience food stalls and a picnic atmosphere for families and friends, as well as trade stalls selling traditional clothes and jewellery.
There will be plenty of fun for children too, including magic shows and face painting, and a three-hour cultural showcase on the amphitheatre stage with dance, music, singing and more.
The Bengali Association of Western Australia Spring Festival will now be held at the Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds on Saturday, November 8. The festivities will get started at 3 pm and the event will run until 7.30 pm. The upcoming occasion is completely free to attend and is an alcohol-free event.
