Space adventure screening to come to Cannington

A cinema in Cannington will present the latest story from a galaxy far, far away this year featuring a brave bounty hunter and his mischievous sidekick.

Fans of the Star Wars saga in the area can catch “The Mandalorian and Grogu” on the big screen soon. Over six years have passed since a film from the franchise appeared at the cinema, but 2026 will introduce the newest edition, an all-new adventure featuring characters from the hit Disney streaming show “The Mandalorian”.

Illustrated by Matt Ferguson, the poster for the film is already being advertised heavily alongside trailers that provide a peak of the action to come. Marketeers at film studios often work with dedicated poster printing services to create different sized one-sheets for distribution and deployment at cinemas screening titles.

The Lucasfilm production has been directed by Jon Favreau, who co-wrote the film with Noah Kloor and Dave Filoni. Pedro Pascal reprises his role as Din Djarin, the Mandalorian, and is joined by an all-star cast that includes science fiction alumni Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White of “The Bear” fame, who voices the son of Jabba the Hutt.

The Mandalorian and Grogu will now be on screen at HOYTS Carousel on Thursday, May 21, with a wide range of show times and seat prices to pick from. The cinema can be found at 1382 Albany Highway in Cannington.
