An immersive exhibition featuring scale models is being held at a major events space in Cannington.
Scale model collectors in the area can attend the leading event for the hobby in the state this year. Winter will see the Western Australian Scale Model Expo (WASMEX) 2026 run in the suburb. Held across two fun-filled days in multiple halls, the expo will feature large displays, interactive activities, competitions, collector clubs and commercial stands staffed by major hobby shops of Perth.
Retailers with a presence at exhibitions and expos often order point of sale signage from printers that prominently features their Logo Design to command the attention of consumers.
Running for over a quarter of century, WASMEX is a premier event for scale model enthusiasts and organised by volunteers. It is also the home of the Western Australia Scale Model Building Championship Competition. Open to all, it has categories like junior and intermediate available for young model builders. The competition involves an extremely varied display of already-built scale models like military vehicles, aircraft, figures, civilian vehicles and fantasy and sci fi characters.
WASMEX 2026 will now be at the Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds from Saturday, 8 to Sunday, 9 August. The event is open from 10 am to 4 pm on both days of the expo, and the venue is situated at 1 Station Street in Cannington.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
