An eatery in Cannington is hosting a quiz night featuring questions about a much-loved animation which put a twist on traditional fairy tales.
Fans of the popular Shrek series in Cannington can show off their in-depth knowledge this winter. A trivia night called “Beats Bingo Shrek”, is taking place in the suburb presented by Grape Vine Events which offers residents a chance to compete for prizes while enjoying grilled food and bar drinks.
Companies running games at pubs, bars and restaurants sometimes work with professional Print shops that can create branded score cards, answer sheets and other supporting materials for players.
Food available during the Shrek quiz includes burgers, wings, ribs and plant-based options for vegetarians and vegans. There will also be an extensive cocktail menu, which will include special edition themed drinks for the event.
An American animated comedy, the first Shrek film was released in 2001. Starring the voice talents of Mike Myers (Shrek the Ogre), Cameron Diaz (Princess Fiona), Eddie Murphy (Donkey) and John Lithgow (Lord Farquaad) the movie and its subsequent sequels have formed an internationally famous franchise.
The Shrek-themed trivia event will take place at TGI Fridays Carousel on Thursday, July 30. The American bar and grill is based at 1382 Albany Highway in Cannington and the quiz starts at 6.30 pm and ends at 8.30 pm.
