A key civic centre in Cannington is set to welcome an event that celebrates creative expression within the community this spring.
Artistic residents and fans of the arts in the area can participate in a free event taking place in the suburb this year. Presented by the Entertainment Network of Talent Explorers (ENTE) and running with support from the City of Canning, the event is called Art Mela and offers activities, a competition, food and drink and a chance to sell and buy a wide range of creative works.
Professional artists and craftspeople attending fairs and markets to sell their creations sometimes carry well-designed Business Cards promoting their contact details alongside a logo to give to new customers and clients.
The community-focused festival takes its name from the Sanskrit word for a fair or gathering. Those attending will find a multitude of stalls set up on the day selling handmade jewellery, arts and crafts, clothing, food, drinks and more. A painting contest will run that requires registration, and a selection of fun and family-friendly games will be available to take part in.
The ENTE Art Mela will take place at Cannington Town Hall on Saturday, November 21. The fair will open at 11 am and finish at 2 pm, with the venue easy to locate based at 1309 to 1325 Albany Highway in Cannington.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
