A fundraising event for Cannington canines in need is being held at the premises of a leading retailer in the suburb, which specialises in hardware and home improvement.
Perth’s Desperate for Love (DFL) dog rescue is holding a special event in Cannington. Dubbed the “Warehouse Sausage Sizzle”, the autumn occasion is designed to drum up funds for dogs in need in the region.
Animal charities and not-for-profit organisations sometimes call on professional poster printing services to create engaging materials that support their fundraising campaigns and get important messages to a wider audience.
DFL is dedicated to saving as many dogs as it can from pounds. It aims to put dogs with foster families until they can find their forever home. The rescue has hundreds of carers across the Perth metropolitan area looking after dogs that are microchipped and vaccinated ready for adoption. It also runs the “Forever Foster” programme that provides older dogs with a safe environment to live out their remaining years with love and kindness.
Cannington dog lovers coming to the event can support a good cause while enjoying freshly barbecued sausages in buns with sauce.
The Warehouse Sausage Sizzle is taking place on Saturday, May 9 at Bunnings Warehouse. The home improvement and hardware retail outlet is based at 27 Liege Street in Cannington, and the sizzle will start at 8 am and finishes at 4 pm.
