Games and music to come to Cannington
A renowned restaurant in Cannington will soon present a musical take on conventional bingo.
An event called “Boozy Beats Bingo” is headed for the area this summer. The concept behind the night puts a twist on the traditional bingo game and does not use matching balls for competitors to score. Instead, a selection of music is played, and participants with matching albums, artists and songs on their card can cross them off while enjoying an eclectic soundtrack.
Venues holding activities like bingo games sometimes call upon professional print shops to produce branded score cards so that players can keep track of their progress.
Those taking part will have an opportunity to win several prizes and sip on cocktails at lower prices than usual. Mixed drinks on the reduced menu include margaritas, Long Island iced teas and “Electric Lemonade”.
Along with bingo, the evening event will also let participants face off in dance contests, lip synch battles and enjoy group sing-alongs to popular songs.
Boozy Beats Bingo is hosted by Capacity Crowd Events and is being held at TGI Fridays American Bar & Grill on Thursday, December 11. The game will get started at 6.30 pm and players wishing to eat are advised to arrive early to get their order in. The eatery is easy to find in Cannington at 1382 Albany Highway.
