LUSH Cosmetics is holding a series of holiday workshops for young people living in the Cannington area.
School holidays are often utilised by parents and carers to send their charges to workshops where they can learn new skills and be entertained.
LUSH has been in existence for more than 20 years. The company is ethically driven and now has a presence in 52 countries, with over 900 shops. LUSH is the innovator of products such as solid shampoo bars, shower jellies and bath bombs, with an emphasis on ingredient lists that contain fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. It also leads the industry with products that can be sold without Packaging, as well as being strictly anti-animal-testing and supportive of community and fair-trade campaigns.
At the upcoming workshop, participants will get to make a product from scratch, which they can take home. They will also be given a $10 voucher that needs to be spent in-store on the day.
School holiday events may often be advertised within the community by the use of flyer printing. These materials can then be distributed among local schools and the wider area.
