Watertown seeks sponsorships for senior center programs

Organizations, local businesses, and partners in the community are being sought by the Watertown Senior and Community Center to help support special events and programs planned for the rest of this year.

There are opportunities to sponsor programs that offer affordable activities for members of the community, families, and seniors to learn, socialize, connect, and enjoy entertainment. The sponsorships remaining for this year are $1,250 for movie streaming and licensing to support the ongoing movie program of the Senior Center, $1,500 for the holiday party that would cover the entertainment and catering expenses for the Senior Center holiday celebration held every year, and $500 to support three bingo events for families, which would also cover the costs of supplies and prizes.

An entire opportunity can be sponsored by organizations and businesses, or they may contribute a portion of the cost. Consideration will also be given to in-kind donations.

Recognition appropriate to the sponsorship will be given. Often, printed materials such as newsletters, Flyers, and Promotional Products are used to recognize event sponsors.

Enrichment and Office Manager of the Senior Center, Andrea Draeger, said:

“Community support allows us to continue offering affordable programs and special events that bring people together.”

She expressed her gratitude towards the organizations and business that sponsor the program and enable these opportunities to take place.
