Watertown to host maritime-themed live music performance

Watertown has always enjoyed a unique connection with the sea, and an upcoming concert will be celebrating this relationship with the help of live music. This family-friendly event is open to anyone, and aims to provide a fun evening flavored with maritime overtones.

A Night of Sea Shanties with Mark Lambert will be showcasing a series of folk songs performed by a talented acoustic guitarist. Mark Lambert is the lead singer and frontman of the Providence-based band Sharks Come Cruising. He has been playing maritime-themed songs since 2005, and he is known for performing extensive research when creating new ballads.

Mr. Lambert released the album I Wish I Was on Gansett Bay in 2023, and many of his songs have enjoyed positive reviews. Examples include Where the Horizon Calls, Running Down to Cuba, and Pay Me My Money Down.

Live performances associated with niche genres will frequently turn to well-established marketing techniques when curating a publicity campaign. Organizers may partner with Graphic Design Services to produce Flyers, place pamphlets within public venues, and play relevant music on nearby radio stations.

A Night of Sea Shanties with Mark Lambert is taking place on Friday, September 4th. The concert is scheduled to begin at 4 PM, and conclude at 7 PM. This event is being hosted by the Ancient Order of Hibernians lodge located at 151 Watertown Street. This performance is free to attend.
