The Basket Bar is now open in Watertown.
Run by Jessica Christensen and her boyfriend Damien Smith, the Basket Bar features items for many themes such as friendships, romance, holidays, birthdays, creating customized gift baskets.
Purchases can be made by customers for their children, parents, grandparents, neighbors, and extended members of the family. Christensen adds decorative bows, wraps, and other items which her gift baskets unique from others that typically have just food or wine. She can also specialize the baskets for individuals given their hobbies or profession.
The Basket Bar does not have a liquor license so those who want to include a bottle of wine or other alcoholic beverage are charged an additional service fee of $15.00 if a basket with alcohol in it is desired.
Prices of the gift baskets range from $2.00 to $14.00 depending on the style of the basket. While individuals are waiting for their baskets to be prepared, customers can enjoy free Wi-Fi, tea or coffee for $2.00, or watch television.
New stores and their unique concepts and offerings can be promoted throughout a city with brochure printing.
The Basket Bar is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays; from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday; and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays, with the store being closed on Tuesday.
