What's Happening in Germantown, WI…

Soup and sandwich restaurant coming to city

Menomonee Falls will soon be home to a Café Zupas location in one of its new developments.

Cobalt Partners LLC from Milwaukee, which is in charge of both mixed-use properties, will build one restaurant at White Stone Station.

Menomonee Falls officials recently received plans from Cobalt Partners and Rinka Chung Architecture detailing how the White Stone station location will be the northeast area of the project near Home 2 Suites hotel. The building will total 4,000 square feet, and there will also be retail spaces with 12,000 square feet and 8,000 square feet available.

Cobalt Partners CEO Scott Yauck praised the new developments and their potential for mixed-use development, believing that opening a restaurant that is new to the area will be a draw for patrons. Edgar Cepuritis, Vice President of Development for Café Zupas, said the company is excited to open restaurants in the state and be part of the community. The company also looked into property in Illinois, but preferred the Wisconsin locations.

Café Zupas is a sandwich and soup chain from Utah. The company is expanding into Wisconsin by opening three locations in the state. Another will be in Middleton and will be open for business next month, and the last will be in Greenfield in the 84South development, which will open next year.

Printed flyers could serve as early advertising for the restaurant if they are put up in public areas.
