Metalworks business on the move

By early September, EFCO Finishing will move to Menomonee Falls, according to Terry Schultz, the company's president.

The metal finishing business bought a space over 28,000 square feet wide at the price of $1,425,000 at W142 N9078 Fountain Boulevard. Tax records for the county say that the facility is worth about two thirds of that amount.

EFCO had NAI MLG Commercial's Adam Matson help them with the sale. Colliers International's Pat Hake and Steve Sewert were the listing brokers.

Schultz has also stated that renovations inside the building are underway. New carpets and paint are going inside the offices, electrical and masonry projects are in the works, and a new floor for the wetroom will be put in.

For over 60 years, EFCO Finishing had headquarters at North 124th Street in Butler. However, it has outgrown the space and can no longer use a great deal of its 25,000 square feet. Schultz says he will miss the old building but commented that the business growing means moving onto a bigger and better space, especially since the company saw an increase in demand in late 2016. The Menomonee Falls location can help the business be more efficient through the spacing of its machinery.

With a bigger and more efficient facility, EFCO Finishing can take on more projects, and marketing services help get the word out that a business is available.
