Luxury apartments to be part of redevelopment
The redevelopment of the old Stolper Steel and Western Industries factory in Menomonee Falls is set to include luxury apartments, it was revealed at a recent review.
The village has agreed to the project (with minor alterations to signage and landscaping) meaning it will be able to commence soon. The luxury apartment complex near Pilgrim Road and Highway 41/45 will have over 300 units in seven buildings; each three stories tall. Apartments will range from studios to two-bedroom options and rent will range from $900 to $1,600 per month.
Fiduciary Real Estate Development sent in its revised plans and the Architectural Control Board reviewed them in late August. Staff of the village will give their final approval for the landscaping changes and signage during their meeting in late October.
It will take two years for the complex to be built. The company expects to break ground this autumn, starting with the pool and clubhouse, which will have a sun deck, fitness area, grilling area, and a club room with a kitchenette.
The apartments are the next phase of redeveloping the factory grounds by Fiduciary Real Estate Development Inc. Sites already built include the Wisconsin Athletic Club, Sports and Spine Center, and the Medical College of Wisconsin Orthopedic. Plans for a Costco are now afoot too.
To highlight the amenities in newly built complexes, developers often reach out to professional brochure printers.
