Class teaches breathwork in Menomonee Falls

A breathwork session will take place in Menomonee Falls to celebrate Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month.

Participants in the 75-minute breathwork session can expect a structured breathing experience that enhances mental clarity while promoting sensory regulation and emotional stability. Doors will open at 5pm and there are free parking facilities.

The class teaches students using principles from somatic science along with trauma-informed care methods. The session targets people who suffer from cognitive fatigue along with chronic stress and overstimulation symptoms. Highly sensitive people, neurodivergent individuals and those experiencing emotional burnout are likely to benefit significantly. Event details are sometimes communicated through banner printing.

The participants will practice vocal humming with closed-eye visualization and sensory-limiting activities that require covering both eyes and ears. The class components function to activate the vagus nerve and help regulate the nervous system. A guided visualization exercise called “theta drop” ends the class before a brief integration period with music, silent reflection and journal writing.

The event provides props like weighted blankets and eye pillows or participants can use their own for improved comfort and regulation. Participation is limited to ten places. If fewer than three participants have signed up then refunds will become available.

NeuroSanctuary: The Somatic Breathwork Reset for Clarity, Calm and Sensory Peace class costs $30 and will take place from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, June 27 at the Peace Yoga Studio & Wellness Center in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
