Sudsy fun in Kenosha

Wisconsin is known for the many beers brewed in the state, and now a festival is planned to celebrate the sudsy beverage.

The Great Lakes Brew Fest is the biggest such festival in Southeast Wisconsin. Attendees will be able to enjoy unlimited samples of over 300 seltzers, hard ciders, homebrews, and craft beers, provided by approximately 60 brewers. In addition, there will be food vendors and live music. When outdoor events like this are scheduled, organizers can consider using banner printing to create weather-proof signage.

The festival is being held to benefit the Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps, which was founded in 1934. Members of this non-profit, educational, charitable organization serves as marching, musical ambassadors for the southeastern area of Wisconsin.

The Brew Fest will take place in HarborPark, which has a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. There is street parking near the harbor, which is free, and there are tickets available for Designated Drivers, who must be at least 21 years of age. In fact, everyone attending the event must be 21, and have a valid ID. No pets, babies, or children will be admitted.

There are three types of tickets available. The Gold Pass includes early admission, which is at 2.00 pm, and is $80.00 plus fees. General admission is $50.00 plus fees if bought in advance, and $55.00 plus fees if bought at the door. Designated drivers pay $20.00 plus fees.

The Brew Fest is September 10, from 3.00 pm until 6.30 pm.
