Dark, dinosaurs, and creepy fun

An event 65 million years in the making is coming to Kenosha.

The Dinosaur Discovery Museum is once again hosting their popular “Dinosaurs in the Dark” event, which allows visitors to walk through the dinosaur skeleton exhibits in the dark, using only a flashlight for guidance. This allows the dinosaurs to appear and disappear as the beam passes them, throwing shadows and giving everyone a good-natured scare. The event is so popular that advance registration is required.

In addition, a Ghost Hunt event limited specifically to students in high school is available, and will be held on one of the “Dinosaurs in the Dark” dates. Participants will learn about strange events, and examine possible paranormal evidence, such as EVPs and photos captured by professional paranormal investigators.

A second Ghost Hunt, this time for adults, will be held on still another date. After exploring the paranormal, participants will have time to look around the museum.

There are several dates available for “Dinosaurs in the Dark,” with four half-hour slots available each day. The dates of the” Dino” event are October 15, October 22, and October 29.

The high school Ghost Hunt is available on October 15 only, and has a fee of $10.00, or $20.00 for non-members. The adult Ghost Hunt is October 29 at the same price, and will be held from 9.00 pm until 11.00 pm. Organizers of these sorts of events can use brochure printing to create pamphlets for participants that will provide information about the facility.
