VISIT Lake Geneva and the City of Lake Geneva are hosting the town’s 31st Annual Winterfest at the end of the month.
The event will center on America’s Snow Sculpting Invitational, in which 15 artists from around the country and the world will compete. Voting for the snow sculpture People’s Choice Awards will be open from 10:00 am on January 31 to 3:00 pm on February 1, both online and in person at The Riviera Ballroom and the Lake Geneva Visitor Center.
The long weekend will also include ice sculpture displays in downtown Lake Geneva, bonfires on Riviera Beach, fire art performances, concession vendors, and live music. Vendors often use banner printing services to display their names on their booths at community events. Concession sellers will include Boy Scout Troop #239 and Pearce’s Farm Stand. Ice sculptures will be on display from January 29 to February 1. Locations will be announced soon.
Winterfest is free to attend and open to everyone in the area, including residents of Burlington and other nearby towns. A full schedule for the festival is available on VISIT Lake Geneva’s website. Metered parking will be available downtown. A free shuttle bus service will also run between downtown and two larger parking lots. Details are available on the website.
Winterfest Lake Geneva will take place from Wednesday, January 28 to Sunday, February 1 at Riviera Plaza and Flat Iron Park.
