Burlington seminar introduces ornamental grass options

Ornamental grasses can add a unique touch to a garden, and a Burlington workshop will explore how they, along with native species, can really make a fall garden shine.

Burlington Garden Center runs classes throughout the year that cover a variety of horticultural topics, and its late August installment will introduce native species and ornamental grasses and how they can be incorporated into almost any landscape design. It will be held in the morning, and those interested will need to submit an RSVP.

The seminar will showcase how native species often offer good fall color, texture and overall shape, and their fruit may attract wildlife. There will be tips shared for choosing the right species of grasses or other plants for a particular location and purpose, and everyone will hopefully be inspired to use them in their own existing or new plantings. They will be invited to share their own ideas, and to thank them for coming out, the attendees will receive a shopping discount for the venue.

Both new and seasoned gardeners alike may appreciate the opportunity to add some new knowledge and skills to their personal toolbox. Copies of handouts and other learning materials for a function can be prepared by Stationery printers.

The crew at Burlington Garden Center have scheduled this learning opportunity for August 23rd. It has a start time of 10:00 am.
