Experience Burlington is hosting its 82nd annual fundraising dinner and auction this winter.
The evening will include appetizers, drinks and a full sit-down dinner with carving stations. There will also be wine and spirits tastings, and Runaway will be providing one local beer for each attendee. Entertainment will include live and silent auctions and music performed by D’Lite Duo. Attendees can also enter raffles, including a 50/50, a meat raffle and a drawing for a $1000 travel voucher. Organizers often use printing services to create Signs for different raffle baskets and auction items at this type of event.
The silent auction will take place online, so anyone interested can participate even if they do not attend the dinner. Auction items will be available for preview starting on Friday, January 16. Bidding will open at 9 am on January 19 and close the evening of the dinner at 9 pm.
Tickets are available on Experience Burlington’s website now. The cost is $75 per person or $850 for a reserved table for 10 guests. Businesses can contribute to the event by donating an auction item. The dress code is “date night,” which includes attire like nice jeans and a sport coat or a cocktail dress.
The 82nd Annual Dinner and Auction is scheduled for Friday, January 23, from 5 pm to 10 pm at Veterans Terrace.
