Optical suppliers to become a new spectacle

A well-known Burlington business will soon be moving into its brand new location, which it hopes will increase its ability to meet the needs of the Wisconsin eye care industry.

Wisconsin Vision Associates, which supplies both equipment and eyewear to optometrists from all over the country, is almost finished work on its new warehouse and distribution center. It will have a total area of 63,000 square feet, with 50,000 of that being dedicated to warehouse space. This triples the current capacity of 17,000 square feet, and allows the company to stock enough products to last at least 30 days. The building will also include four new loading bays, as well as office and admin space.

The new facility will be locate at 35263 W State Street, and is expected to come in at around $7m. It’s being constructed by the contracting firm Peter Scherrer Group, and if things go as planned, it will open for business this coming April.

Wisconsin Vision Associates aims to have items ready for its customer within days, cutting down the amount of time it would take if ordered from the manufacturer.

When a business like this grows, it will likely wish to let its customers and clients know about the changes to its contact information. A Print company can produce promotional materials that achieve this.
