Craft market scheduled for Burlington

For two days in mid-July, Burlington’s Wehmhoff Square Park will be transformed into a giant outdoor pop-up market, and it has issued a call to the local community of makers, artisans and small business owners.

The event, which has been dubbed the Maxwell Street Market, will be part of the larger Burlington Days celebration. Vendor spaces are $75.00 each, and they will all be located outdoors.

Local establishments may also be getting involved by hosting sidewalk sales. The businesses that set up shop in the activity will each be assigned a 10-foot by 10-foot space, and they can display their products or other merchandise.

Business owners and local makers can start their setup at 7:00 am, which is two hours ahead of when it will be open to the public. Experience Burlington Partners will not be asked to pay a booking fee for their spot.

A pop-up market may be a valuable business opportunity for those who make handmade items, as well as other small business owners. Canopies printed with special graphic design, order Forms, price tags, Signs and booth decor can all be ordered from a local printing services provider.

The Experience Burlington Days Maxwell Street Market, scheduled for Downtown Burlington, will run from Friday, 19 and Saturday, 20 July. The market will be open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on both days. Wehmhoff Square can be found next to the Burlington Public Library.
