This class is intended for the hobby beekeeper who is just starting out, and it will cover the basic knowledge needed to find success.
The students will learn how to choose a suitable site for their new hives, where they can purchase bees and the equipment they need and also how to care for the members of their new colony so they will be healthy and happy.
Along with all the other information, pupils will discuss how they can successful overwinter their hives. The workshop will last for approximately three hours, and since it tends to be very popular, it has been recommended that all who are interested reserve their space as soon as possible.
