Burlington golfers to tee off for kids

A not-for-profit group that takes aim at pediatric cancer has a day of fun in the sun planned for Burlington golfers, and it promises to be a memorable outing for those who take part.

The Kisses From Kegan golf fundraising classic will see players take on 18 holes at The Highlands, which is a local championship course. Tickets for the outing include the use of a powered cart complete with a GPS system.

The players in the event will enjoy a meal of breakfast sandwiches once they have arrived and checked in, and they will also be able to meet and mingle with the other attendees. There will be a shotgun start, and lunch is also included in the ticket price. Awards will be presented, and to maximize the impact of the activity, both a raffle draw and silent auction are on the agenda.

The listing prepared for the classic stresses that tickets sell out fast. Prizes for the top players, as well as fun gifts for those who did not do so well in a golf event, can be prepared by area Print shops.

This chance to show support for kids living with cancer will tee off on Friday, September 16. Registration and breakfast will open at 7:00 am, with the shotgun start scheduled for 8:30 am.
