Stacy Jones is a singer/songwriter based in Seattle who has received multiple nominations as “Best of the Blues” in guitar, harmonica, performance, and songwriting. She and her outfit won the “Best Band Award” four consecutive times from 2018 to 2021, and can claim a dozen more “Best of the Blues” awards from the Washington Blues Society, which gave her album “Love Is Everywhere” their 2018 NW Recording of the Year award.
Jones’s expressive vocals have been heard everywhere from the Chicago Blues Festival to California riverboats, to Mississippi juke joints, to SXSW. She has been on tour in Europe, and shared the stage with legends such as Lee Oskar, Charlie Musselwhite, and Elvin Bishop. Since 2002, she has been the leader of her own band, and the current quartet, which comprises Stacy, Rick J. Bowen on drums, bassist Tom Jones, and Jeff Menteer on guitar, have been performing together since 2008. Jones has been described as offering:
“…the rolling thunder blues of Howlin’ Wolf mixed with the honesty of Lucinda Williams.”
The high-energy group plays the Blues, of course, but also entertains audiences with roots rock and Americana. They will be at the Seasons Performance Hall in Yakima on July 30 at 7:30 pm, in a live performance. Poster printing can be used to create attractive advertising for event like this.
