Anthony Henderson, stage name Krayzie Bone, is an entrepreneur, producer, singer, and rapper, and a member of the rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. His initial success came as a member of the group, after which he went solo, and in 1999, dropped his debut, “Thug Mentality 1999.” The album was a set of two discs featuring many guests, including his own band, Naughty By Nature, The Marley Brothers, Mariah Carey, and Snoop Dogg. The RIAA certified the album Platinum. His next album, 2001’s “Thug On Da Line,” achieved Gold status.
In 2005, Chamillionaire featured Krayzie Bone in “Ridin’,” which won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. The song proved to be a massive success, receiving a nomination for Best Rap Song, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 2 in the UK. Rolling Stone ranked the song No. 3 on its “100 Best Songs of 2006,” and it won the Best Rap Video award in the same year at the MTV Video Music Awards.
