A course that provides training for IT professionals is coming up in Yakima.
Educera is presenting its “Data Visualization using Tableau 10 Certification Training” course, which will offer 32 hours of training in the classroom, 20 hours of assignments, case studies from real life, expert support 24/7, and lifetime access.
Tableau products look at various platforms including spreadsheets, cloud databases, and relational databases, and use the data they find to generate graphs that present data visually. They can also be used to extract and store, and then retrieve, data from other sources, such as in-memory data engines.
The upcoming course, which leads to a certification, is aimed at project managers, data scientists, data analysts, reporting professionals, business intelligence professionals, IT testers and developers, analytics professionals, professionals seeking a career in the fields of data analytics in real time, and students or businesspeople who want to become proficient in Tableau, as well as those seeking certification.
Subjects will be covered in detail, and include, among many areas of study, an introduction to Tableau 10 and what data visualization is; how to manage datasets and visually analyze data, creating graphs, sorting, creating sets, mapping, calculations, functions, and a deep dive into dashboards. Hands-on exercises will accompany each module.
The course is set for December 15 to December 18, at the Business Centre in Yakima. Print shops can be helpful in preparing material for events like this.
