The City of Woodinville is turning 25 soon, and is getting ready to celebrate its incorporation. It will start things off with two separate events, according to an article in the Woodinville Weekly.
First, the city plans to host a community paint day in the form of a “paint by numbers” event that gives residents a chance to actually take part in creating the art project that will be installed on the 131st Avenue NE train trestle to welcome people to the community.
Everyone is encouraged to take part in the event, which gives them a chance to work on a piece of art that will be displayed where everyone can see it. The event is family-friendly, and there will be music, food, and fun for everyone.
Later in the month, the city is inviting everyone to yet another party, simply to celebrate the anniversary. Food, music, and fun are on the schedule, and a short film about the mural project will be screened. The event is family-friendly, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
The community painting party is scheduled to take place at the Carol Edwards Center this Saturday, March 10, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
The anniversary party and film screening will take place at the Hollywood Schoolhouse, from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm, on March 31.
Events like this can be even more fun if organizers work with a banner printing company to create festive Banners to decorate the venue.
