What's Happening in Woodinville, WA…

Local chamber announces upcoming luncheon

It will soon be time for lunch with the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, in a slightly modified manner.

The luncheon is a monthly business meeting for Chamber members and their guests, and it follows a simple format. The agenda consists of a welcome for attendees and any announcements by the Chamber, followed by the keynote speech, and finally the closing remarks. The change is that the meeting will be held remotely, via Zoom. Banner printing can be used to make interesting or whimsical backgrounds for events such as this.

However, although people will not be able to gather for luncheon, they are encouraged to help support the community by ordering food for takeout. Picking up a meal in this way is part of the Chamber’s #ThinkLocal initiative, which encourages residents to remember how much local businesses have contributed to the community by continuing to operate during the pandemic. The initiative suggests it is now the community’s concern to support local businesses in turn, in a manner consistent with safety.

The date of the luncheon is May 20, from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. The welcome remarks are set for 11:30, with the keynote address at 12:00, and closing remarks at 12:20 pm. Although there is no charge to attend the meeting, registration is mandatory. After an attendee registers, they will receive a Zoom meeting ID and password.
