Camas and the area around it can look forward to three holiday-themed events in early December.
Nearby Washougal's annual Lighted Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting kicks things off, featuring the Washougal High School Band giving performances, and guests will be treated to cookies and hot cocoa. A short lighted parade will start at 6:00 pm and that will be followed by a tree lighting ceremony. The Washougal High School choir will hold a community sing-along to end the festivities. It will take place in downtown Washougal on Thursday, December 4 beginning at 5:00 pm.
Camas itself will also have its Hometown Holidays 2025, including local entertainment, live music, free photo opportunities with Santa and his reindeer, and food. The tree lighting will be at 5:00 pm, there will be crafts for the children, and free hot cocoa and treats for everyone. Hometown Holidays 2025 will take place in Downtown Camas on Friday, December 5 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Meanwhile, the Christmas Ships Parade will be cruising down the Willamette and Columbia Rivers for 15 nights in December. The parade has a different route every night and the ones that can be seen from here in Camas will be starting at 6:00 pm on Saturday, December 6 and 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10 at Steamboat Landing.
