String quartet heads to Spokane

The popular Vitamin String Quartet will be performing in Spokane this February, featuring their own take on many of today’s top hits.

The ensemble is known for applying classical string techniques to modern pop, dance and hip-hop tracks. The artists sampled include Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, and Daft Punk, creating a unique sound. The group is also noted for performing in shows such as Bridgerton, Westworld ,and Modern Family, and the concert title “Billie Eilish, Bridgerton and Beyond” suggests that this music will be featured in Spokane.

VIP ticket purchasers can attend the sound check and take part in a question and answer session, providing a look behind the curtain. The group features a rotating cast of classically trained musicians, with the lineup for this tour yet to be announced.

The Spokane show is part of an extended tour throughout the Pacific Northwest, with the Quartet also appearing in Seattle, Vancouver and Montana. Concerts like this often use radio advertising and flyer printing to connect with local music lovers. The group’s mission statement emphasizes their desire to bring classical music to everyday audiences:

“Since the project’s start in 1999, Vitamin String Quartet (VSQ) has helped establish classical crossover as a genuine force in contemporary music while accompanying countless listeners through their workday and late-night study sessions.”

The Vitamin String Quartet’s Spokane performance will take place at the Fox Theater on the evening of February 5.
