The Spokane Marathon will be returning this October, bringing back one of the city’s most popular and longest road races.
The full route for the marathon will run the traditional distance of 26.2 miles and aims to capture the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The course will travel along the Spokane River and the Centennial Trail, moving through forests as well as local landmarks like Gonzaga University. Runners can tackle the distance individually or in teams, with a four-person relay option available. The race will be a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
In addition to the full marathon, there will be reduced trails for half marathon, 10k, and 5k runs. Young runners can participate in a 0.44 mile Kids Fun Run. Spectators can cheer on the participants from sites like Riverfront Park, Boulder Beach, and Military Cemetery Trailhead.
All routes will end at the Race Village at around the same time, with refreshments on hand for finishers. The race will award prizes for the top three finishers for each age group, gender, and distance, as well as for the best relay teams. Races like this often use printing services to create Promotional Products like shirts and bandanas as part of the race package.
