Spring market to gather Spokane businesses

The Riverfront Spokane area will be holding a special outdoor market this April, designed to highlight the coming of spring.

The market is held in conjunction with the Idaho Central Credit Union and is timed to coincide with schools’ Spring Break period. There will be live entertainment, including a pet fashion show and Vastra the Clown. Local vendors will provide hot food and drink for refreshments. Among the confirmed food vendors are Birdie’s Pie Shop, Green Leaf Organics, and Hop ‘n Ridge Ranch.

The Spring Market aims to highlight local artisans and independent crafters from Eastern Washington. Exhibitors include 4 Bitten Fruit Studio, Lilac Moon Jewelry Co., and Our Little Lavender Company. The market will also include representatives of local organizations and services, ranging from the Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho to Roller Valley.

Items on sale include handmade jewelry, pottery, and textiles, which can be used for gifts or home decoration. The market is one of the Riverfront Spokane area’s signature events, alongside other spring programming like an Easter egg hunt and the “Sip and Soar” viewing experience. Vendors at markets like this often use business card printing or promotional item creation to be sure they have something to give to new customers.

The 2026 Spring Market will take place at the South Entrance of Riverfront Park in Spokane on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 8, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. Admission will be free.
