Lavender Festival scheduled for Spokane

The Spokane Lavender Festival will be held in the Spokane region this July, and aims to highlight one of the Pacific Northwest’s signature plants while bringing people together.

The outdoor event allows visitors to stroll through fields of lavender plants, pick their owns, and take photos in a scenic locale. There will also be a marketplace area with local artisan vendors offering lavender products, artwork, gift items, and more. The festival offers lavender-infused items like coffee and scones, plus refreshments like ice cream and lemonade for visitors to cool off.

The Festival will also feature several 15-minute educational topics, including lessons on growing lavender and how to use hydrosols. Visitors young and old can enjoy the Hands-on Craft Booth. Harvest festivals like this often use tools like brochure printing and participatory activities to provide agricultural education.

The event is hosted at the Evening Light Lavender Farm, one of the state’s largest organic farms. Advertising emphasizes the wide-ranging audience for the festival:

“Whether you are planning a weekend getaway to Spokane, searching for summer festivals in Eastern Washington, or looking for unique family-friendly events near Spokane, the festival provides a memorable experience filled with flowers, music, food, and scenic countryside charm.”

The 2026 Spokane Lavender Festival will take place on July 11 and 12 at the Evening Light Lavender Farm.
