Spokane fair to celebrate anniversary

One of the area’s oldest traditions, the Spokane County Interstate Fair will be marking its 75th anniversary this September with 10 days of classic attractions.

Organizers aim to make this year bigger than ever, celebrating both the event milestone and America’s 250th birthday. This will include an expanded midway with rides, classic carnival games, and carnival food favourites. The Fair has also created a new logo for the anniversary. Logo Design can be a crucial way for businesses and events to signal their values and create excitement.

There will be three nights of concerts, headlined by major names like Daughtry, Nate Smith, Gretchen Wilson, and The Band Perry. Another popular event is the demolition derby, with old cars being wrecked and smashed across a weekend. The fair will include a food drive and “Coats 4 Kids” drive on specific days, with donated items going back to the community.

The Interstate Fair is rooted in agricultural traditions, which will be present through events ranging from the opening “Peach Party” to “Mutton Bustin” competitions taking place across the fair’s length. Cowboys and cowgirls will show off their skills at PRCA rodeo events.

The 2026 edition of the Spokane County Interstate Fair will take place from September 11 to 20 at Spokane Fair @ Expo Center. September 15 will be a special “sensory day” aimed at neurodiverse visitors looking for a calmer experience.
