Spokane event to highlight local artists
The BrrrZAAR winter shopping event will be returning to Spokane this December, aiming to provide a showcase for local artists and artisans.
The holiday market will feature over 70 local vendors offering thousands of handcrafted or locally made items. These include original art, ceramics, clothing, home goods, and other gift items. Shoppers can also pick up decorations or food items to help them host the holidays. Most items will be available for $100 or less, and will be displayed across three floors.
The market area will also include live music from Spokane area performers. Vendors at events like this often offer special deals or promotional products to better stand out from the crowd. Last year’s BrrrZAAR featured a crowd of over 23, 000 and sold over $200, 000 in art and homemade gifts.
This year’s vendor selection includes A. Wyckoff Handmade Jewelry, Bungalow Candle Studio and Daisy Marie Designs. The marketplace is hosted as an extension of the TERRAIN art event, as a winter counterpart to the summer art Bazaar. Promotional material emphasizes the chance to support local creators:
