Hunter Lloyd and his robots will give a family-friendly performance at the Spokane Comedy Club in September.
Hunter Lloyd's Robot Comedy Show is a program where families can watch a performance that combines robotics, video game elements, and comedy into a unique and entertaining experience. Lloyd will be joined by Looney the Robot and other mechanical companions like Ocean and Bubbles. The show has been to several notable venues, including the Consumer Electronics Show, the Tower City Comedy Festival, and the North Carolina Comedy Festival.
Lloyd is a professor at Montana State University who teaches computer science and robotics. He has also created robots for organizations like the Department of Defense and NASA. Starting his comedy career in 1991 when he participated in the Funniest College Student in America competition, Lloyd’s other accomplishments include publishing multiple Books and inventing the SnoozeDoll. This robotic comedy show has performed at over 200 schools.
The performance will be on Sunday, September 8th at 3:00 pm, and doors to the event will open at 2:00 pm. Tickets for adults will cost $20, and children ages 17 and under can pay $10 to attend the comedy show. Admission will be more expensive for those who purchase tickets at the door.
